- HACKERS, VANDALS, VILLAINS, MADNESS, VIRUSES AND WORMS

At least once per week, I have some mad people out there in the cyberspace trying to disrupt my system; dispatching to my InBox some bogus mails with attachments infested with viruses.

I wonder why they do that. Jalousie, envy or simple madness? I can imagine these immature people hunched over their keyboard, eyes bulging and devious grin on their face, trying to create havoc on someone else computer.

For me only madness can be the ultimate explanation. Otherwise how can a mature and sensible person be delighted in creating havoc by planting malicious programs in computer networks worldwide.

These people are simply coward and hide most of the time behind fake web based e-mail addresses (Hotmail, Yahoo and so on). To make sure that their mischievous dispatches could not be traced back, those who dare using ISP e-mail addresses put a "_" in front of their e-mail addresses like this "_hacker@madness.com".

That little trick of inserting "_" in front of the e-mail address make it impossible for the recipient to reply to the e-mail. The reply mail bounces back. To reply you need to remove the "_"

Don't make it easy for any villain to disrupt your hard work. Take simple precautions: 1- Never open attachment to a mail send to you by an unknown person. 2- Install and regularly update a Virus Scanner application.
